1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Score at tryAIScore.com ("the Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
• You must provide a valid email address that you own
• If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms

3. Description of Service

AI Score is a professional benchmarking platform that assesses AI maturity across five dimensions: Tools & Platforms, Prompting Skills, Automation, Business Impact, and AI Strategy. Your results — including your score, profile, and percentile rankings — are generated for informational and professional development purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind.

The core benchmarking service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, which will always be clearly communicated before any charge is applied.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your login credentials or magic links with others
• You must not create multiple accounts to manipulate benchmark data or percentile rankings
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit deliberately false or inflated answers with the intent to skew benchmark data or improve your ranking artificially
• Attempt to access, modify, or delete another user's data
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any associated system
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without prior written consent
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the scoring weights or methodology for commercial resale or reproduction
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
• Transmit any content that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or violates third-party rights

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

6. Scores, Profiles and Methodology

• Your AI Score is a self-reported benchmark based on your honest answers. Accuracy depends entirely on the truthfulness of your responses
• Scores, profiles, and percentiles are recalculated when the user base grows. Historical scores are preserved but comparative rankings may shift over time
• The scoring methodology, including dimension weights, is proprietary and intentionally not disclosed to preserve benchmark integrity
• AI Score results are not a guarantee of professional competency and should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, promotion, or procurement decisions

7. Intellectual Property

The AI Score name, logo, scoring methodology, question framework, platform design, and all related content are the exclusive intellectual property of tryAIScore.com. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

Your assessment answers and personal profile data belong to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may share your individual results (score, profile, percentile) on social media or professional networks. You may not reproduce or redistribute the Platform content, methodology, or question set without prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services including Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), and PostHog (analytics). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Their respective terms and privacy policies apply to their processing of your data.

9. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Benchmark results are based on self-reported data and reflect a snapshot in time — they are not predictive of future performance
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, tryAIScore.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for free-tier users, is zero).

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@tryaiscore.com.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if your account has been inactive for more than 24 months.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable local law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
